Kenny and Marguerite have lived in Brookland for the past 4 years and have participated in St. Anothny's yard sale for the last 3 years.  Since they are now expecting Baby #2, they are looking to clear out more items before the baby arrives.

Yard Sale Story

Chris, Ken, Marcia & David's Garage/Yard Sale

Attention early bird shoppers, Chris, Ken, Marcia, and David's Garage and Yard Sale will be open by 9:00 am Saturday.

They are located at 1218 Kearney St. NE . The sale will be in both their garage and their back yard. So, be sure to look for the flags and balloons.

Some of their items will include a six-string guitar, Nats and Postal Service memorabilia, SOHO supplies, Cow collectibles, assorted electronics, and lots of gift and Christmas items.

They're are pricing to sell, so bring plenty of Georges, Abes, and Alexanders!

Downsizing's the game @

"The yard sale event seemed like a great opportunity to get rid of some of my stuff," according to Vicki on Perry.

Vicki's yard sale might a real find as she and her husband are trying to liquidate some of their inventory. They ran an Italian Deli in Brookland and later on Connecticut Avenue. "Our business was a victim of the post 9/11 slowdown." she reports. "At present, my husband and I are looking for full time employment and we hope to use the yard sale proceeds as a means to send our kids to summer camp."

So, get some good deals and send some kids to camp. What better reason to shop?!
